{"id":465,"date":"2026-08-31T17:12:34","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T16:12:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/twcancoalition.org.uk\/?p=465"},"modified":"2026-09-18T10:47:50","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T09:47:50","slug":"local-screenings-of-the-peoples-emergency-briefing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/twcancoalition.org.uk\/?p=465","title":{"rendered":"Local screenings of the People\u2019s Emergency Briefing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What\u2019s happening with climate and nature, and what does the climate and nature emergency mean for everyday life in the UK, and our neighbourhood?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>People\u2019s Emergency Briefing<\/strong> is an eye-opening 50-minute film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts to answer this question with the latest evidence about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf27\ufe0f Extreme weather<br>\ud83c\udf5e Food security<br>\ud83c\udfe5 Health<br>\ud83d\udcb7 Cost of living<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing that was held in Westminster in November 2025 (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times). Please help us by booking a place in advance with the links below to help us manage the numbers. If after booking you are unable to attend, we\u2019d be very grateful if you let us know so that we can re-allocate your ticket to someone else.
